NFL Selections - 9/7

It's been a while since I have posted NFL plays here, but I had some success last year (first year in a while in NFL) and am looking to build on it. That said, Week 1 is tough, because it is all based on speculation and the limited glimpses from preseason. So be careful and good luck. Sides didn't look good this week, but I found four totals that I like. All plays are for one unit. Writeups will be small this week, since all of them are based on my projections of how teams will do....they may be right, but they may be way off as well.


BUFFALO/NEW ENGLAND UNDER 46.5

Both teams have upgraded defensively, and the history between the two points under here. I have both defenses in the top 10, making me wonder why such the high number here. I really like this one.

ARIZONA/DETROIT OVER 38.5

My stats have these two defenses in the bottom 5...Arizona is no juggernaut on offense (supposedly), but the Lions should give up a few here.

MIAMI/HOUSTON UNDER 35

Two of the top defenses here, and I have Houston as the worst offense. Miami should hold the Texans to a TD or less, and I don't think the Fins O will get more than 21.

NEW ORLEANS/SEATTLE OVER 48

A high number, but both of these offenses figure to be high powered this season. Both have a lot of weapons, and I think this one ends up with both teams in the 30's.
